12月3日（木）津田沼キャンパス新１号棟18階会議室において本学生、教員ならだれでも自由に参加できるオープンレクチャーが開催されました(担当教員/林原准教授)。第5回目となる今回は、Dr.Sebastian Klug氏(Simulation,Systems Optimization and Robotics Group Technische Universitat Darmstadt)をお招きし「Biological Concepts for Robotics and vice versa」と題し、13:30～英語で講演していただきました。

多くの学生、教員の集る中、担当教員である林原准教授が｢今日は皆さんに世界の風を感じてもらいたい｣とあいさつ。講師であるDr.Sebastian Klug氏を紹介のあと、英語でPresentationが始まりました。

日頃から英語の講義が取り入れられているのも当学科の特長です。

Introduction

I finished my phD this year in the field of bionics/biomimetics,investigating to what
extend the natural mechanical and dynamical characteristics of the movement apparatus(in this case the human arm)influence or even support and simplify the control effort during directed motions.A further research interest is,how these biomechanical findings can be used to optimize the construction of more energy efficient,biological inspired robots or even allow the construction of more functional robots in the first place.

翌12月4日(金)には、オープンレクチャーシリーズ第6回(担当教員/太田准教授)が芝園キャンパスで開催されました。
｢月惑星探査機とロボット｣と題し､宇宙航空研究開発機構月惑星探査プログラムグループ研究開発室の開発員である成田伸一郎氏がご講演くださいました。ありがとうございました。
